Linbo’s Blueberries Recipe #31: Fresh Blueberry Sauce Over Papaya Printer-friendly 2 large ripe papayas Cut papayas in half, scoop out seeds, reserve some if you wish to use as garnish or in sauce. You may leave in half or cut into quarters or cut and fan into slices. Place the papaua on a dessert plate. In a suacepan combine blueberries with sugar, water, cloves and cinnamon and bring to a boil. Dissolve arrowroot in lime juice, add to berries and cook for 5 minutes. Taste and adjust sweetness as desired, stir in some seeds if you wish and spoon while either warm or at room temperature over papaya. |
